wildgemuese-fanaccount Great band / project, moving from post-jazzy to ethereal folky or classical touch, even experimental, always fresh, nicely extending genre stereotypes and also great positive soft vibes music

about

After our debut-release Løft Mig Op Så Jeg Kan Nå, which was alive-record, I felt like making a tighter, slightly more focused product as our next release. We went into the studio with a clear intent of focusing on every little sound and detail, utilising a lot of the benefits a studio-session brings.
It ended up being a short and very strict record - for good and bad.
Never the less some recordings did not make the cut - they were cut in order to make the record as focused and clear as possible.
Listening now I think this is a better version with the cut takes added. The original release lacks a little bit of improvisation for my taste and with these two new pieces it brings forward the more sonicly curious part of our band.

Included too is a scratched version of Alting Hele Tiden - i'm not sure I like this take better, but it is fun to hear, and tells a story of how we work with our music.

Enjoy and as always: I Think You're Awesome
